Steps To Obtaining a Concealed Carry Weapons Permit
Below is a list of Steps to obtaining a Solano County CCW permit.
Most all of the process is done online electronically. Click HERE to connect to the Solano County Sheriff’s web site to get started.
Step 1:
Take my 2 hour CCW seminar. It lays out the Solano CCW process, how to complete the CCW application and development of your Good Cause statement.
Step 2:
Turn in you application and wait to be notified to scheduled your Live-scan.
Step 3:
Once you receive (and not before) your proceed to training letter, schedule your 8 hour CCW weapons inspection and qualification Training.
Step 4:
Turn in your training paperwork and get your CCW.
Start to finish is usually less than 2 months.
